Joel began his professional career in Fort Saskatchewan’s industrial refining industry as a Power Engineer before making a career shift at the age of 27. He transitioned into the world of finance under the Raymond James banner, leveraging his analytical skills and engineering background to excel in this new field. In August 2023, Joel took on a new challenge, taking his portfolio management business to RBC Dominion Securities.

Joel's investment approach is both strategic and client-focused, carefully aligning his clients’ goals with their portfolio needs. His unique perspective, developed by his diverse career background, offers a fresh and insightful approach to portfolio management.

Joel's dedication to excellence extends beyond his professional life. He serves as a Board Member for Special Olympics Edmonton, reflecting his dedication to community involvement and advocacy for inclusive sports.

Outside of work, Joel enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Adrianna, and their son, Simon. He also enjoys staying active playing golf, basketball and hockey.
